M & Son Auto Sales & Service is a locally owned used car dealer and repair shop at 619 Roosevelt Trail on Route 302 in Windham, Maine. Two pillars, one address
Most places pick a side. A dealership sells you a vehicle and hands you a card for somewhere else when it needs work. A repair shop fixes what you already own and has no part in how you came to own it. M & Son does both from the same lot on Roosevelt Trail, and that arrangement changes the incentives in a way worth understanding.
When the people selling a car are the same people who will be looking at it on a lift in eight months, overselling has a short shelf life. A vehicle sold badly comes back as a problem with a name attached to it. That is the practical reason the two pillars sit together, and it is more useful than any slogan about trust.
The sales side buys, sells and trades quality pre-owned vehicles, with financing available through a credit application. The service side handles oil changes, brake service, engine diagnostics, suspension repair and general auto repair on all makes and models, including plenty of vehicles that were bought somewhere else entirely. You get the price before the work starts. If something unexpected turns up once a job is apart, we stop and call rather than adding it quietly to the total. On the sales side, ask for the out-the-door number and you will get it.
All makes and models
Domestic or import, car, truck or SUV, whether or not it came from our lot. If something falls outside what we take on, we will tell you directly instead of keeping your vehicle for a week to arrive at the same answer.
You will not find awards, certification badges, star ratings or a count of years on this site. Not because there is nothing to say, but because we only publish what we can stand behind. If a claim is not verified, it does not go on the page. That rule applies to the vehicles too: no invented inventory, no prices we have not set, no stock counts that were true last month.

That is the whole story we are willing to tell you, because it is the part we can verify. Anything more colorful would be invented, and a shop that invents its own history is not the shop you want quoting your brake job.

Windham drivers, and drivers across the wider Sebago Lakes region, are who walks through the door. That shapes the work: winter salt underneath, frost heaves on the back roads, short cold trips that are harder on an engine than any highway run, and a lake season that puts hard summer miles on brakes and suspension.
